Howdy?
Exams finally over, games time are becoming more available.
Autumn is here, holidays are near. Though we don’t see snow, but in BB we sure know.
That we have friends and we have hands. Hands to give Ten , and friends to give thanks.
So here are some dates to take note, just too bad its not for you vote : p
17 Oct: No parade, its Deepavali
24 Oct: Parade
30 Oct- 2 Nov : LDC 1 Camp for sec 1, combined camp for rest of boys. All are involved! Consent forms will be given out soon.
7 Nov : Parade
14 Nov : Parent Appreciation Tea and Promotion Ceremony ( You are finally getting promoted!)
15- 20/21 Nov: Trip to BB Australia (limited number of boys only)
1,2 & 4 Dec : BB Sharity Box Duties – All of you have 1 day duties minimun, while 1/3 of you have 2 days duties, more details soon. : ) It’s a blessing to give !
Mid- Dec : Christmas Party – out of school!

To all Character Quest (CQ) Participants:
Pls note that the competition will be held tommorrow, 12 Sep 09. Details as follow:
Reporting time: 720am sharp
Reporting place: JWSS School canteen
To bring: Bus card(identification card) for registration, pen, water bottle carried in a haversack bag.
Reporting attire: BB Fatigue Dress (see below)
This attire consists of the
a) BB regulation polo T-shirt (neatly tucked in),
b) name tag
c) Dark blue longs pants — NOT shorts…
d) and running/school shoes.
We will move out from JWSS via bus, at 730pm (cannot be late!) to Christ Church Secondary school in Woodlands, competition will end at 5pm. You should reach JWSS at 6pm.
Please have enough rest tonight , drink more water and sleep early.
Should you know in advance that you could not make it to tommorrow, please inform me or Miss Lim Shiying immediately, so that we can activate the reserve to replace you. Pls note that there’s only 1 reserve per team, if a team does not have 4 full members, it will automatically be disqualified. Please be responsible in your attendance! In the competition, give your best, have fun and trust God for success in this journey, for He loves to bless all of you.

The Character Quest is part of BB’s National events and competitions that gives you an opportunity to interact not only with the Boys in our own company but also with other Boys as a part of the larger BB Community as a whole.
The officers and teachers want to thank the Boys who have come forward and joined the Quest. Let’s have fun together.
There will be a training for those involved with Officer Zongrong on Friday.

Venue: JWSS Canteen
Time: 1.00pm to 2.30pm (or earlier)
Coverage: Daniel Chapter 1 to 6 ( Please read up first if you can)

BB Character Quest! June 25, 2009

The Annual Character Quest is here :
The Character Quest is part of BB’s National events and competitions that gives you an opportunity to interact not only with the Boys in our own company but also with other Boys as a part of the larger BB Community as a whole.
Last year, our company send 3 teams of boys, and thanks be to God we were awarded Silver for our efforts. Kudos to those who participated!
This year, we are looking for 15 boys to form 3 teams to participate in the Character Quest. Anyone from Secondary 1 to 3 is eligible to join!
There will be trainings given to you to equip you with the Bible knowledge and team work skills needed for the competition.
Be sure that you are not left out of this exciting competition. Sign up with your fellow mates by informing your squad leaders or CSM, Jeremy latest by 1st July 2009, Wednesday.

· Bring an old item, but in good condition, to school and gives it to Kang Le. (From Monday to Friday)
· Bring items like VCD, soft toys and etc.
· Held on 27th march, Friday.

BB week 2009 had started!
This money you raise is for the BB funds, everything you donate now, is what you will be using in future, so that we can have more activities!
Bear in mind, our goal is $10,650. Not the officer’s goals, not the teacher’s goals, its our goal, we are working as a family.
BB week card
· Aim for at least $100 : )
1. Ask from your family members. (Parents and siblings)

Archery Workshop, 14 Feb, Sat February 10, 2009

We are having our annual archery workshop this Sat at Tampines SAFRA for the entire company. We’ll be collecting only $5 per person. The actual cost is $25 per person. The rest of the cost which will be subsidized by the church. A bus transport is provided to and fro the venue. You’ll be back in school by 130pm.

BB Sharity Gift Box Duties, 3 & 5 Dec November 26, 2008

The annual BB Sharity Gift Box, a national community service project that seeks to bless the needy in Singapore is here. As a company, we are sending ALL Boys to be involved (excluding potential Founder’s Men who have been assigned specific dates) in this meaningful project. Here are the details of our scheduled duty dates:
Date: 3 & 5 Dec, Wed & Fri
Time to Report : 7.30 am
Venue to Report: JWSS canteen
Attire when Reporting : Day Dress (FULL UNIFORM). The uniform standard can be viewed here
Items to Bring: PT Kit, Writing Materials and EZ Link Card (with sufficient value); and NRIC for Officers and Primers
Estimated time of Dismissal : 9.30 pm
Uniform and Bearing
Officers, Primers (inclusive of PAAs) and Boys (inclusive of FAAs) are to comply to uniform standards as stated on BB.org.sg / SP Uniform. Members of the Brigade found in willful violation of the uniform standards would be subjected to disciplinary actions.
Hair Regulation (VERY IMPORTANT!)
1. For Boys/Male Officers, the haircut should be neat, and should not cover the ears and eyebrows.
2. Hair should be just above the collar at the back.
3. No artificial colouration of hair is allowed and no body ornaments such as earrings should be worn.
Meals
Lunch and Dinner would be provided.
Advisory
Officers, Primers and Boys are strongly advised against bringing valuable items. DO NOT bring electronic gaming devices.
