Hope u all have enjoyed your bai nian with family, relatives n frens. After all the feasting, good to detox a bit by eating simple meals, fruits n vegetables n drink “cooling tea”. And also do some exercise.

BB Share A Gift on 9 & 10 Dec (Fri & Sat)

To all Sec 1,2 & 3 BB Boys,
The upcoming BB Share-A-Gift on 9 & 10 Dec is for the whole 85th company. This is the last event for our BB Boys and good attendance is crucial to helping 85th to secure J M Fraser GOLD next year.

Note: Attendance is also required for achieving the Community Service Stage 1 & 2 awards.

Details:
Lunch and Dinner will be provided. Bring EZ Link Card. Bus transport to and from BBHQ will be provided.

Fall-in Time: 7:45am @ JWSS Parade Square
Attire: Full Uniform (Bring along PT kit with BB Polo tee-shirt)
Dismissal Time: 8.30pm

All Boys are reminded not to bring expensive items. Valuables are brought entirely at your own risk.

All Boys are to have their breakfast before coming for their duties.

Please note that all Boys participating in this event are to adhere to the standard hair and uniform regulation. Kindly note that Boys should report in proper uniform and with proper haircut (hair should not be artificially coloured, and should not touch the ears, eyebrows or collar. There should be no sideburns). The Duty Officer/Staff for the day may exercise discretion in disallowing Boys to participate in the duty in the event they are found to be out of attire or are found sporting an improper haircut.

All Boys are not allowed to leave the event before the overall Officer-in-charge, Mr Frederick Kwan, dismisses them. Attendance will be taken in the morning punctually and in the night. Anyone who leaves the event without permission will be subject to disciplinary action.

Pls help to disseminate this info to all BB Boys (especially those who are not in the JWSS Facebook Group).

BB Combined LDC1 Camp 28-30 Oct & Adventure 3 Special Training 29 Oct

Dear All,

There will be a combined LDC1 camp with Bukitview 73rd BB Coy from 28-30 Oct for all Sec 1 and 2s.

- Fall in @ JWSS 1815 sharp on 28 Oct, Friday with all your camp equipment. All Sec 1 & 2 Boys to have an early dinner before coming to school as no dinner is provided.

- Attached is the camp packing list.

- Combined LDC1 camp will end on 30 Oct, Sun at 12 noon.

For Sec 3 Potential Founders’ Boys – Glenn, Xavier, JiaYi, Weixuan, Zhensiang, Edsel & Magellan,

- There will be a special Adventure Stage 3 combined training @ JWSS from 0830-1600 with BVSS Sec 3 BB Boys.

- Fall in 0830 @ JWSS.

Exam Break – No BB until 15 Oct, 2011

We’ll be having an exam break for all until 15 Oct. BB will resume with Skeet Trap Shooting (Stage 1) for Sec 2 & 3 Boys. Pls focus on your studies and do well.

There will also a LDC1 camp for Sec 1s end of Oct.

There might be a 2D1N camp (end Oct) for Sec 2 & 3 to finish the remaining badgework.

Dear All,

Next week is the last wk of BB activities before the exam break. We’ll be holding our annual Promotion Ceremony & Parents Appreciation on 16 Sep, Friday Night and BB Inter-Coy Sports Challenge on 17th Sep.

Pls take note of the following details:

Promotion Ceremony & Parents Appreciation on 16 Sep, Friday

Fall in: 1630 (Parade Square)

Attire: Full uniform

Pls extend the invitation to your parents & family, (grandparents are welcome). Dinner will be provided, served by BB Boys. Event will end by 2115 latest.

Note: Uniform and haircut must be in of good standard (else promotion will be withheld).

JiaYi/Weixuan/Gerard/Johnny, pls take charge of the rehearsal.

BB Inter-Coy Sports Challenge on 17th Sep, Saturday

Due to latest change, there will only be basketball and soccer challenge for this Sports Day. Unfortunately, Dodgeball sports is dropped so those Boys who signed up will not be able to represent 85th.

Only the following 8 Boys involved are: Henry (Sec 3) – Team Capt, Rafe, Richmond, Gary, Yeongyuan, Keith Lim, Alvin (Sec 2) and Dai Yi (Sec 1).

Fall in: 0730

Attire: BB Blue Polo (Bring JWSS PT attire also)

Lunch will be provided. Prizes will be awarded to the Winning Team.

Bring EZ link card. You might be required to find your way to Bukitville Sec and back.

Event will end by 1400 latest.

Note: For Sec 2 or 3, participation in Sports Day will qualify individual for either Sportsman Award Stage 2 or 3. For Sec 1, only Sportsman Stage 1 is awarded.
